Kentucky publishes no usable market series

Programme status

Medical only, under KRS ch. 218B. The programme became effective on 1 January 2025 for cards and licensing; the first retail sales were in January 2026 — the earliest dispensary open date on the state's own list is 15 January 2026. Seed-to-sale is Metrc.

What is not published

  • No sales series exists yet — the market is months old.
  • The 'Application Analytics' page is a live URL with well-formed figures that has been frozen since 31 August 2024. It looks current and is not; it must never be wired up.
  • The cumulative-sales figure in circulation comes from a law-firm blog quoting an email newsletter with no located public archive, and is not cited here.

Why there is no page here

Too new to have a series, and the one page that looks like a series is dead. A frozen page that returns 200 is the most dangerous kind of source, so it is named here rather than quietly ignored.

What would change this

The LRC annual report due 1 December 2026 — the first artifact that could ever carry monthly sales.

Why this page exists at all

Every US cannabis jurisdiction gets an entry on this site, including the ones with nothing to chart. A jurisdiction that is simply missing looks like an oversight; a jurisdiction whose absence is stated, sourced and dated is a finding. This site is a record of what governments publish, and that record has to include what they do not.

Nothing on this page is an estimate. Where a figure exists in press coverage, a law-firm summary or budget testimony but not in a published government artifact, it is named as unusable rather than repeated.
